Dana Cavedon joined the Sports Medicine staff at Western New England University as an Athletic Trainer in August 2017.
Cavedon will primarily work with the volleyball, women’s tennis, women’s basketball and men’s lacrosse teams at Western New England.
Cavedon comes to Western New England after spending the 2016-17 academic year as a graduate assistant at California University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her Master of Sciences degree in Athletic Training. Cavedon worked with the women’s volleyball, women’s swimming, women’s golf, and men’s tennis teams.
The Hopkinton, Mass. native served as the head athletic trainer for Babson College’s summer sports camps in 2017. She also gained experience in the field spending a year each as an assistant athletic trainer at Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, Mass., and Hopkinton High School from 2014-16.
Cavedon received her undergraduate degree in athletic training from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, Calif., graduating Magna Cum Laude.
