SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Junior Lauren Landri (New Canaan, CT) and sophomore Todd Krolikowski (Bristol, CT) were honored Wednesday (Nov. 4) as the Western New England College Female and Male Athletes-of-the-Week.
Landri, a middle blocker on the women’s volleyball team, compiled 28 kills, 13 blocks, and a .468 hitting percentage in three victories. She totaled season highs of 13 kills and six blocks in a 3-1 decision over host Wentworth, and added nine kills with five blocks in a 3-0 win over Regis. Landri is a Psychology/Education major.
Krolikowski, a linebacker on the football squad, compiled a team high 11 tackles (10 solo) in a 17-14 victory at Salve Regina. He also added two stops for losses, including one of the Golden Bears’ six sacks in the game. Krolikowski, a Criminal Justice major, also was named to the weekly New England Football Conference (NEFC) honor roll.
