SPRINGFIELD, Mass.
- Beth Fatse doesn't have to look too far to see how two of her three sons are doing at Western New England College.

Serving as the Manager of First-Year Program Services at the College gives Beth and her husband Peter plenty of time to watch Andrew and T.J. compete on Golden Bears' sports teams.

Andrew is a junior second baseman on the baseball squad and one of the top players in the nation. Last year he hit .420 and selected to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) All-American Team.

T.J., a freshman, played goalie on the men's hockey team and appeared in 14 contests after joining the team in January.

But that's not all.

Oldest son Peter, 22, was a baseball standout at UConn who is now preparing for his second season in professional ball with the Milwaukee Brewers organization.

The Fatse boys picked-up their love of sports from their parents.

Peter was a former baseball star at Hobart College while Beth was a member of the equestrian team at Cazenovia College. Both schools are located in New York State.

"We got the boys ponies when they were young, but once they starting throwing the ball, that was the end of that," said Beth.

The Fatse family resides in Hampden.
