Western New England College players land spots on All-TCCC First Team

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Western New England College trio of senior center fielder Lauren Arsenault (Fitchburg, MA), junior first base player Trish Breault (Millville, MA), and sophomore designated player/pitcher Sarah Lempicki (Plantsville, CT) all were named to The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) All-Star Softball First Team on Wednesday (Apr. 28).
Arsenault batted .368 in 24 league contests after collecting 32 hits, which included six doubles and a homer. She also scored 19 runs with 14 runs-batted-in. Arsenault also was perfect in the field after handling 27 chances without an error. She is a Sports Management major.
Breault hit .351 in conference competition with 27 hits, 29 runs, a double, three triples, six stolen bases, and 17 walks. She was outstanding defensively making only three errors in 195 chances for a .985 fielding percentage. Breault, a Management major, also had a .490 on-base percentage.
Lempicki returned from an early season injury to hit .416 with 37 hits (double, two homers), 23 runs, and 22 RBI. She also compiled an impressive .551 slugging percentage. A Business major, Lempicki posted a 6-3 pitching record with a 2.25 earned-run-average that featured 61 strikeouts (and 25 walks) in 53 innings.
