SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Six Western New England College student-athletes received graduating awards at the school's recent Baccalaureate Ceremony.
Football standout
David Doiron (Plainville, MA) received the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence in the School of Arts and Sciences, and was named the Honor Graduate in Economics. He was a two-time
ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American selection and a First-Team honoree last fall.
Men's golf performer
Julian Partyka (West Springfield, MA) earned the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence in the School of Engineering and the Mechanical Engineering Department Award for Outstanding Senior.
Men's golf captain
Steve Adamshick (Milton, NY) gained the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Award for Outstanding Senior.
Women's basketball co-captain
Kailah Al-Darraji (Dover, NH) received the Outstanding Full-time Student Award in Marketing.
Bowling team member
Leigh Pratt (Troy, NY) was the Honor Graduate in Psychology and the recipient of the Allen E. Anderson Award in the School of Arts and Sciences.
