SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Western New England College will be well-represented at the Lax World
United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Senior North-South All-Star Game at 3:00 p.m. Friday (May 28) at Beldon Field on the Goucher College campus in Baltimore, Maryland.
John Klepecki of Western New England College will coach the North squad in the annual contest that features the best Division III men's lacrosse players in the nation. He was the 2007 USILA Division III Coach-of-the-Year. WNEC assistant coach
Jim Warnock will be on the sideline in a similar capacity.
Two of his Golden Bears' will participate in the game, attack player
Tim Santye (Skillman, NJ) and defender
Nick Zaleski (Somers, CT). Both players made The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) All-Star First Team and served as team captains this past season.
Each player also made the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England All-Star Teams.
Western New England College finished with a 12-6 record for the program's seventh consecutive winning season and posted a 9-1 mark in league play to share the regular season title with Endicott.
