Marissa Bonitatibus and Andrew Fatse named Western New England College Athletes-of-the-Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Juniors Marissa Bonitatibus (Yorktown Heights, NY) and Andrew Fatse (Hampden, MA) were honored Wednesday (May 4) as the Western New England College Female and Male Athletes-of-the-Week.
Bonitatibus, the goalie on the women’s lacrosse team, stopped 12 shots (including seven in the second half) as the Golden Bears defeated Curry 10-7 in a quarterfinal round game of The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Championship. She is a Psychology/Elementary Education major.
Fatse, the left fielder on the baseball squad, hit .400 (10-for-25) in six games to help Western New England College capture The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) tournament title for the third consecutive year. He went 5-for-10 with two runs and three RBI in a pair of elimination game victories over Endicott, and contributed three hits in a win against Eastern Nazarene. Fatse also handled 15 chances in the field without an error. He is an Accounting major.
