Completion of new turf installed at Golden Bear Stadium

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Golden Bear Stadium received a face-lift this summer with the installation of new turf by the company
FieldTurf.
The new field features the Golden Bear logo in the center.
On Wednesday (Aug. 11) and Thursday (Aug. 12), lines, markers, and numbers were painted on the field.
This is the first renovation since the facility opened in September of 2002.
Golden Bear Stadium is the home of the field hockey, football, and men and women's lacrosse teams.
In addition, the field is used by the College's popular intramural programs.
