A group of 20 other players crossed the street from campus and helped the staff at the Duggan Middle School prepare for the new year by moving furniture and fixing parts of the building.
"This is the fifth year that the football team has taken time during their pre-season to perform community service," said Western New England College Athletics Outreach Coordinator
Jennifer Kolins. "They also dedicate time each spring to volunteer as well. Coach Emery and his players have developed a culture of giving back to the community. They not only participate in service projects as a team, but they show sincere individual humanitarian efforts towards helping others and supporting the community in which they live."
