(May 22, 2018) – Juniors Bob Hamel (Southwick, Mass.), Alex Loparco (Riverside, Conn.) and Joe Cassella (Wallingford, Conn.) of the Western New England University baseball team have earned All-Region honors from both D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), the organizations announced this week.

(May 14, 2018) –  Junior outfielder Joe Cassella (Wallingford, Conn.) and junior left-handed pitcher Bob Hamel (Southwick, Mass.) of the Western New England University baseball team were both recognized with awards from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) for their performances during the CCC Tournament over the last two weekends, the league office announced on Monday.

(May 13, 2018) – After the second game of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Baseball Tournament best-of-3 championship series was suspended due to darkness with the score tied 6-6 through 11 innings on Friday night, it took just 19 minutes for Western New England University to walk off with a 7-6 victory over Salve Regina University on Sunday afternoon at Reynolds Field.
