Mike Duffy is entering his second season as a Graduate Assistant with the Western New England University Men’s Basketball program in 2019-20.
During Duffy's first season with Western New England in 2018-19, the Golden Bears recorded their highest win total since the 2009-10 campaign and won their first CCC Tournament contest since 2007-08.
Duffy joined head coach Colin Tabb’s staff following his work as a Regional Scout for NetScouts Basketball, where he was responsible for live scouting NCAA Division I games and compiling reports on amateur players for use by international professional teams. He was also tasked with scouting international youth players to assist NCAA teams with their international recruiting process.
Additionally, Duffy spent two years as a Live Data Scout with Sportradar, the real-time statistics partner of the NBA, in which he attended NBA and WNBA games in the Northeast to track player statistics and shot locations.
As an undergraduate, he served as an intern in a variety of basketball settings, including with the Westchester Knicks and a New York based sports agency.
A 2016 graduate of New York University, Duffy earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Sport Leadership and Coaching from Western New England University.
