Ben Menard joined the Western New England University coaching staff as a graduate assistant in June 2018.
A native of South Hadley, Mass., Menard was a four-year member of the Springfield College men’s lacrosse team from 2012-16. He appeared in 29 career contests as a midfielder, including 12 during his senior campaign.
Menard has spent the past two years as an assistant coach at American International College (2016-17) and Springfield College (2017-18) respectively. He has gained additional experience as a lacrosse instructor at the Boys and Girls Club since 2014 and also spent a year as an assistant golf coach at Springfield Central High School in 2015.
Outside of lacrosse, Menard serves as an instructional paraprofessional at Margaret C. Ells Elementary School in Springfield.
Menard earned his bachelor’s degree in Movement Sport Studies with a minor in coaching from Springfield in May 2016.
