Western New England College rolls to easy victory over Elms

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Western New England College women's swimming team won its second straight meet with an easy 140-90 victory over visiting Elms College Wednesday evening (Jan. 24) at the Alumni Healthful Living Center.

Sophomore Jamie Campo (Port Jefferson, NY) again led the way by winning all three freestyle events, the 50 (26.89), 100 (58.75), and 200 (2:04.99) races.

Freshman Krista Goulet (Saco, ME) was a double winner taking the 50 (30.64) and 100 (1:05.19) backstroke events.

Elms freshman Liz Walker (Holyoke, MA) had a big night winning three events, the 50 breaststroke (33.39), 100 breaststroke (1:11.82), and the 200 individual medley (2:23.73).

The Golden Bears improve their record to 4-6 while the Blazers fall to 4-7.
